Lucia Rose Horan
Fire is a sacred element of life and through the dance Lucia shares her reverance for this element. She brings her background of Latin, African, Middle-eastern, 5Rhythms, Yoga, Contact-Improv, traditional and contemporary dance into her fire performances. Lucia grew up in a family of dancers and musicians. Her mom was a belly dancer and her half brothers mom is Gabrielle Roth, founder of the 5Rhythms ecstatic dance practice.
Lucia teaches dance workshops for The Moving Center NYC, in California, and around the world.
Lucia has been fire dancing since the year 2000 and has performed with Fire Within, Infinite Kaos and Cirque De Flambe (El Cirquo) appearing at Burningman, Reggea On The River and many more festivals through the west Coast of the USA and Mexico. She has also danced with the famous UK group Transglobal Underground headlining ROR 2005.
